Quality is everything

I bought my first rifle when I was 10, with money I earned mowing lawns. It was a well-used .22, and the first thing I did was refinish the stock. I still have that rifle.

I’ve been building things for about as long. At 12, during the early days of the BMX craze, I was modifying bicycles to add mono-shock suspension. That turned into a lifetime of fabrication, welding and machining, and I hold several welding certifications. Along the way, I’ve built and modified more firearms than I can count.

Today I manage a development fabrication and machine shop for a private aerospace company here in West Texas, where parts have to be right every single time. High Desert Armory is where I bring that same standard to firearms: careful work, done right, and nothing leaves my shop until I’d put my name on it.

High Desert Armory is a federally licensed firearms manufacturer (FFL Type 07) with Special Occupational Tax status (SOT Class 2), located in Van Horn, Texas. When I’m not in the shop, you’ll usually find me off-roading in the 4×4, camping, or flying FPV planes and drones.
