Terms of Sale
Terms that apply to purchases, including age and eligibility requirements.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These terms apply to purchases from High Desert Armory through highdesert-armory.com or in our shop. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 to buy rifles, shotguns and their ammunition, and at least 21 to buy handguns, frames, receivers and suppressors.
- You must not be prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms under federal, state or local law.
- Firearms and suppressors are transferred only after you complete ATF Form 4473 and pass any required background check, or after ATF approves a Form 4 if you choose NFA registration.
- It’s your responsibility to know and follow the laws where you live. We may cancel any order we believe would violate the law.
Orders and pricing
- Prices and availability can change without notice. If an item is listed at the wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you.
- Sales tax is charged as required by law.
- Payment: the payment options available for your order are shown at checkout. For mailed payments, we hold your item and ship it or start your transfer after payment arrives; personal checks must clear first. Reservations not paid within 14 days may be cancelled.
- We may refuse or cancel any order, including if we can’t verify your identity or eligibility. If we cancel, you’ll get a full refund unless our Returns & Refunds policy says otherwise.
Transfers and timing
- Transfer methods, fees and timing are described in our FFL Transfer Policy and Shipping Policy.
- ATF processing times for Form 4 applications are outside our control, and we can’t guarantee them.
- Regulatory changes: since October 9, 2026, ATF doesn’t require NFA registration for suppressors. That’s an enforcement policy that could change. If a change in law or policy affects an order before transfer, we may require a different transfer method (such as a Form 4) or cancel the order with a refund.
Safe and lawful use
Firearms and suppressors are dangerous if misused. Follow all safety rules, the manufacturer’s instructions, and federal, state and local laws. Install suppressors only on firearms of the correct caliber and thread pitch.
Warranty and liability
Our only warranties are those in our Returns & Refunds policy. Otherwise, products are sold as-is, to the extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order won’t exceed what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Texas law that can’t be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Culberson County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted when you place your order applies to that order.
