Shipping Policy

We ship within the United States only. How an order ships depends on what’s in it.

Firearms and suppressors

• Firearms and suppressors purchased on a Form 4473 ship only to a licensed FFL dealer you choose at checkout, or you can pick up at our shop in Van Horn by appointment. Handguns and suppressors must go to a dealer in your home state.
• We ship after we receive a copy of your dealer’s federal firearms license. Ask your dealer to email it to dennis.marsh@highdesert-armory.com.
• You’ll complete ATF Form 4473 and a background check at your dealer, who may charge their own transfer fee.
• Form 4 orders: Texas residents may have the item shipped to a Texas address after ATF approves the Form 4 and we receive your completed Form 4473, under ATF Procedure 2020-1. Out-of-state Form 4 orders ship to your SOT dealer on a tax-free ATF Form 3.
• We don’t ship suppressors to states or localities where civilian possession is prohibited, and we may decline any shipment we believe would violate federal, state or local law.

Parts and accessories

Non-regulated parts and accessories ship directly to the address on your order.

Carriers and timing

• In-stock orders usually ship within 2–5 business days after payment and any required paperwork. Form 4 orders ship after ATF approval.
• Firearms and suppressors ship fully insured with tracking and an adult signature required.
• Shipping is a flat $25 per order, insured with adult signature required. Pickup at our Van Horn shop is free. For Texas orders, 8% sales tax applies to shipping as well.

Damaged or missing shipments

Inspect your package on delivery. If it arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive, contact us within 5 days at (432) 284-9553 or dennis.marsh@highdesert-armory.com and we’ll work with the carrier to make it right.

Firearms we’ve serviced

We can return a firearm we’ve repaired or refinished to the person who sent it to us. Return shipping is quoted with your service estimate.
